Good Friday (22/04), another meet-up with Nat and Jos – same thing, the other 3 absent themselves. First stop was The Soup Restaurant. The service was bad but the food was okay.
I had this huge portion of satisfactory Yong Chow Fried Rice to myself (it’s at least for 2 persons), while the girls had cold desserts. I seriously can’t remember the full name of their desserts.
– wrong angle to show how huge the portion was, lol –
Jos’ was something Pear something something White Fungus(?). Nat’s was something Snow Frog with American Ginseng.
Both tasted more like rock sugar + water (LOL)
Then almost immediately after that, we had ice-cream at Haagen Dazs.
The two of them had the three-scoop ice-cream.
And I had Chocolate Fantasy. Sinful indulgence! (hehehe).
After we were done, we went window shopping. I/We had to resist temptations! (hahahaha)
We then made our way to Clarke Quay (Nat’s like the photo bomber cos she rested her head on my shoulder without warning and I ended up ‘pushing’ Jos out of the picture, well, slightly. Haha.)
Had dinner/supper at The Coffee Connoisseur Concerto (TCC). My first time there (I’m a Starbucks fan) and it wasn’t disappointing at all. Though it’s pricey but I guess it was worth it!
It was getting really late and Nat had to make a trip to Cold Storage on her way home so decided to start walking to the MRT station. We took the stairs which are equivalent to a 5-storey building!
And Nat getting all excited over the long flight of stairs.
She must have thought that it’s the stairway to heaven!
No way I was gonna climb that flight of stairs! I was really bloated then.
We were about to part ways when I saw this!
Guess what I was gonna do there…
And lastly, guess the expression that we were trying to make out.
It was really difficult for me to contain my own laughter.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TIME, THE FUN, JOY AND LAUGHTER.
I APPRECIATE EVERY SINGLE BIT OF ‘EM.
MEET AGAIN SOON! (HOPEFULLY)
